Tasks that don't wait for someone to remember them.
Route requests, reviews, and approvals to the right person automatically, with alerts when a task sits too long, so a purchase order or an HR request doesn't stall in an inbox.
Why this exists
A request that lives in an inbox depends on someone remembering to act on it. A procurement requisition, a maintenance work order, or a policy sign-off can sit for days without anyone being at fault, simply because there was no system tracking that it was waiting. Workflow gives every request a defined path and a visible status.
How it works
Staff define a routing sequence once, for example a purchase requisition goes to a department head, then to finance, then to the procurement officer for final sign-off. Every submission that matches that type follows the same path automatically, with each reviewer notified when it is their turn.
If a task sits past a set number of days without action, an alert goes to the assigned reviewer and, if configured, to their supervisor. Nothing needs a person checking a spreadsheet to catch a stalled request.
Where it plugs in
Workflow routes the forms captured through ALFO's digital forms module and the documents stored in its content library, so an approval and the record it applies to stay connected instead of living in separate systems.
